Seek and Serve Christ in All Persons

The Baptismal Covenant shared by the whole Episcopal Church calls on all people to seek and serve Jesus Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being. We proclaim an Incarnational and Sacramental theology that finds God in all people and seeks God in all things.

These commitments for every person provide the foundation of our mission across congregations, chaplaincies, and schools across the Diocese of New York.

Our shared mission takes form in our local communities and supported by our public witness and in our common life and institutions as a whole Diocese.

Living Our Values

The Diocese expresses its positions on social issues through resolutions passed at Diocesan Convention.

Multifaith Mondays: Public Witness for Democracy

Each Monday from March to September 2025 (and possibly beyond), join us at Columbus Circle from 5:30 to 6:00 pm for a peaceful, interfaith vigil co-hosted with the Interfaith Center of New York. Together, we bear witness to justice, dignity, and the moral values that unite us. All are welcome.
