  • Congregational Leadership in Transition

    Description:

    6:30 – 7:00 pm Overview of the Transition Process, from the departure of clergy to call of new clergy.

    7:00 – 8:00 pm
    Supportive and practical, this group is for wardens and treasurers serving congregations without permanent clergy or in times of change. Together, we focus on steadying leadership, improving communication, and breaking unhelpful habits (like reactive or isolated decision-making), while building healthy, sustainable ways to lead and govern.

  • Treasurers Monthly Check-In

    Description:

    Are you a treasurer or part of your congregation’s finance team? Join this Learning Community to share knowledge, tools, and encouragement as we support one another in the ministry of financial stewardship.

    Together, we’ll explore topics like budgeting, parochial reports, audits, pledge campaigns, and diocesan resources—all to strengthen your church’s financial health.

  • Property Stewardship Community (Fall 2026)

    Description:
    A learning space for those responsible for buildings and grounds. Topics include deferred maintenance, capital planning, risk management, and faithful stewardship of physical assets as tools for mission.

  • Models of Collaboration

    Description:
    Many of our congregations are discovering that we can do more together than alone.

    This Learning Community is for leaders who are exploring creative ministry models, such as shared leadership, regional partnerships, multi-congregation collaborations, and new forms of community ministry. Together, we’ll respond to our changing contexts with courage, imagination, and mutual support.

  • Confirmation/Reception/Reaffirmation Preparation Cohorts

    Description:
    A diocese-wide confirmation preparation experience offered in multiple tracks (adult, youth, Spanish-language). Combines theological grounding, spiritual reflection in small groups, and preparation for participation in the sacramental life of the Church. Participants may be preparing for baptism, confirmation, reception into The Episcopal Church, or reaffirmation of baptismal vows, and may choose to participate in diocesan confirmations at the Cathedral on June 6, or on another date in their local congregation or region.

  • College for Congregational Development (CCD)

    Description:

    We are a Learning Community committed to fostering congregational development across all sizes, locations, and contexts, transforming our churches into more faithful, healthy, and effective communities of faith.

    Whether you have completed CCD Year A or Year B, are currently enrolled, or simply want to learn more, this Learning Community is for you. We will gather every two months to share insights, ask questions, support one another, and deepen our practice as congregational developers.

  • Multicultural, Intercultural & Multilingual Ministries

    Description:
    A collaborative space to support congregations engaging multilingual, multicultural, and intercultural ministry. Focus includes resource-sharing, contextual strategies, and strengthening ministries that reflect the diversity of EDNY.

  • Moses Report Vestry Conversations

    Description:
    A guided vestry-level engagement with the Moses Report, helping congregational leaders reflect on its findings and implications for diocesan life, equity, and mission strategy.

  • Stewardship Intensive

    Description:
    Stewardship is more than a campaign; it’s a year-round spiritual practice that nurtures generosity and sustainability in our congregations.

    Join fellow clergy and lay leaders to explore best practices, share experiences, and engage with resources from The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS), tailored for congregations of all sizes, locations, and conditions. Together, we’ll deepen our understanding of stewardship as a ministry of hope, vision, and faithfulness.
