When Frs. Fred Hill and Jeff Gill came to St. Michael’s in the mid-1970s, few could have imagined the ways that they would revitalize the community with their commitment to what we now call radical welcome. How that unlikely band of saints responded to the extraordinary challenges of HIV/AIDS put their bonds to the test and continues to shape our life together.
As part of this year’s Pride festivities, Fr. Joseph Wood will present initial findings from his research into our parish’s responses to the crisis.
