The Diocesan Convention
We Gather Together
The Bishop presides over the annual Diocesan Convention, the primary decision-making body of the Diocese, made up of clergy and elected lay delegates from each church. Meeting each November, the Convention adopts the diocesan budget, elects members to key governing bodies, considers resolutions (including changes to the Constitution and Canons), and, when necessary, elects bishops.
