Music for a Summer’s Eve
Sat, June 13, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We welcome the talented Talise Trevigne, a gifted Grammy nominated American Operatic Soprano with a passion for contemporary music. Talise is a singer recognized for the “sheer beauty of her voice” and “exquisite stage presence.” As one critic recently stated, “No wonder Talise Trevigne is THE BUZZ of the opera world. She has it all: a glorious voice, matchless acting ability, and beauty that takes your breath away!” In 2015 she received a Grammy nomination for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album for her recording of Christopher Rouse’s Seeing; Kabir Padavali.
Ms. Trevigne will be accompanied by Carl Marucci, a Philadelphia native and gifted conductor, composer, and pianist. Carl had his Carnegie Hall debut in 1998. A year later, in 1999, he debuted at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, and has filled capacity venues, seating more than 8,000 in the tri-state area. He founded the Jubilate Deo Chorale & Orchestra in 1990, a professional symphony orchestra (75 musicians), and large chorus (comprised of 90 volunteer and professional voices) and served as the organization’s conductor and music director from 1990 to 2001.
The evening begins with a pre-concert reception at 6 pm. Sponsorships are offered at various levels. Contact [email protected] for details. Tickets are $25 each.
