Lecture by Rowan Williams, D.Phil. ~ “The Embodied Logos: The Renewal of Mind and the Transformation of Sense”

The former Archbishop of Canterbury will give the keynote lecture at the Patterson Triennial Conference on Orthodox/Catholic Dialogue. A reception follows the lecture.

Rowan Williams, D.Phil., is a distinguished theologian and cleric who has held leadership roles in the Church of England including archbishop of Canterbury from 2002 to 2012. In addition to serving as master of Magdalene College at the University of Cambridge, he is an honorary professor of contemporary Christian thought at the university and a fellow of the British Academy. He earned his doctorate at Christ Church and Wadham College of the University of Oxford, writing on the Russian Orthodox theologian Vladimir Lossky, and his many published works include a study of Russian Orthodox theologian Sergei Bulgakov.
