The sexual exploitation and trafficking of youth is on the rise, especially online. Let’s reach our youth before traffickers do.
Reports of youth sex trafficking have increased during Covid. Youth are spending more and more time online, and traffickers are becoming increasingly savvy in utilizing social media, video gaming and other platforms to groom and exploit.
The Episcopal Diocese of New York Task Force Against Human Trafficking seeks to equip parents and other adults with information aimed at keeping youth safe.
Human Trafficking 101: Wise Up!
An interactive Zoom training for adults on Sunday, January 31, from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. All youth are susceptible to online sexual exploitation and trafficking, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Learn about the different forms of human trafficking, signs to look for, and how to ensure our youth are staying safe online.
