2020 Episcopal Youth Event
Tue, July 7, 2020 - Sat, July 11, 2020
The Diocese of New York will be sending a delegation of youth participants and adult chaperones to EYE20.
Youth participants must be current 9th-12th graders in 2019-20 and ages 15-19 at the time of EYE. We seek participants from communities in every geographical location of the Diocese and who will bring a diversity of experiences and culture to EYE. Each participant must be faithful, curious, and active in a worshiping community of the Episcopal Diocese of New York, and able to function well in large group settings away from home.
Adult chaperones will similarly reflect the diversity of our diocese, be age 22 and older, have served in leadership in their local church, demonstrate experience working with high school youth, have completed the Diocese of New York’s Safe Church Training within the past 5 years and have passed a Criminal Sexual Background Check conducted by the local parish or diocese within 3 years of July 7, 2020.
Youth and chaperones must submit an online application to participate in our diocesan delegation by Monday, December 16. The application must include 2 references from church leadership. Click for Youth Application or Chaperone Application.
