The Hispanic/Latinx Ministries Grants Program provides grants to support Hispanic/Latinx Ministries in the Diocese of New York. A Hispanic/Latinx Ministry is the local expression of a bilingual and intercultural congregation that welcomes members of the Latinx community to be its members. Previously funded programs include the equipping of Latinx leaders in church governance and increasing the accessibility of services to congregations that speak other languages apart from English. Grant funds support programs of these ministries and are not available for outreach or clergy salaries.
